What is freeze dried candy?
Freeze-dried candy is regular candy that’s been placed in a special machine (a freeze dryer) that removes all the moisture using cold temperatures and vacuum pressure. The result? A light, crispy, airy version of your favorite sweets with a totally unique texture and intense flavor!
What kinds of candy do you freeze dry?
We specialize in a rotating variety of popular favorites, including:
- Taffy
- Gummy worms & bears
- Name brand favorites
- Caramel-based candies
- Marshmallow treats…

Are your products made fresh?
Yes! All of our treats are small-batch freeze-dried and packaged fresh right here in Niagara County, New York. We pride ourselves on quality and fun — it’s candy with a crunch and a smile!
How long do freeze-dried candies last?
Our treats are shelf-stable and can last for months if kept sealed in a cool, dry place — but trust us, they usually disappear much faster! Once opened, reseal the bag tightly to keep that perfect crunch.
Do your products contain allergens?
Some of our candies contain common allergens like milk, soy, nuts, or gluten, depending on the original product. Always check ingredient lists before consuming. We do not currently offer allergen-free guarantees, as we process a variety of candy in the same facility.

Shipping & Returns
How do I place an order?
You can place orders directly through our website at MunchTreats.com. Add your favorites to your cart and check out — easy peasy! We accept all major credit cards and PayPal.
Do you offer shipping?
Yes! We ship anywhere in the United States via USPS or UPS. Orders typically go out within 2–4 business days. You’ll receive tracking information once your order is on the way.
Can I pick up my order locally?
Absolutely! We offer local pickup options at select events and markets in Western New York — including fairs, festivals, and our farm stand when in season. Select "Local Pickup" at checkout when available.
Why does my container look underfilled?
We fill every container to the top before shipping. However, freeze-dried candy is brittle and breaks easily during transit. This can cause smaller fragments to settle or turn into powder, making the container appear underfilled. This is normal and expected.
Can I get a refund if my candy arrives broken?
No. We do not offer refunds or replacements for damage caused by shipping. The product is still safe and delicious.
Do you offer free shipping?
No. Shipping is calculated at checkout based on your order’s weight and location.
Do you ship outside the U.S.?
No. We only ship within the continental United States.
Do you offer local delivery?
No, but free local pickup is available in Buffalo, NY.
